Mélissa Longpré
Mélissa Longpré is from Carleton-sur-Mer, lives in Montreal and works on different territories that she explores during research-creation residencies. It reflects its sensitive relationship to biodiversity and sharpens our attention to life through photography, printed images, collection of specimens and the use of organic matter as a medium. The microedition is inserted in its practice as a finality or complement to the corpus it creates. She holds a certificate in visual arts and a BA in graphic design from UQAM. His work has been presented in Quebec and Europe as part of solo and group exhibitions: Occurrence, Hangar 7826, VU, Arprim, Prima Ink/Troms Fylkeskultursenter, Vaste et Vague, Magasin Général, P.U.I/Nantes, Rencontres de la photographie en Gaspésie, and at various events on the photographic book.
