Zacsteen (1994, Tiohtà:ke I Montreal) is a self-taught photographer experimenting with several distinct styles. His works appear as dreamlike images in which fiction and reality collide, well-known tropes merge, meanings shift, merging past and present. Time, memory and space always play a key role through his experiments, reconsidering these concepts by exploring the landscape in a nostalgic way. His works are presented with the aim, not to provide an idealistic view, but to try to understand and identify the elements that surround us, more appropriately presenting the energy of a place and its emotional and spiritual vibrations. He particularly enjoys collaborating with other artists on his works, bringing another dimension to his work, leading them to reconsider and reinterpret his world. Through his Alter Ego Igor Zigor, he allows himself to play and build his own frames for these works, even the wood of his own land, bringing his work to another level.
