Numéro 139 de la revue ESPACE art actuel / Issue 139 ESPACE art actuel magazine

Beyond the abstract formalization and mirages of automation associated with blockchain, this dossier examines how this recording technology is becoming a catalyst for artistic and cultural experimentation. The practices analyzed take up the universe of blockchain representations, museum and institutional experiments, or its applications to art markets, circuits or the governance of the arts sector. The contributions shed light on the relationship between informality and technical formalization, and examine mutualist economies and new revenue models for the arts. This issue offers a space for reflection on these dynamics and their resonance with the challenges of artistic creation and organization in the 21st century.
