Summer Camp – Week 4 – Louise Bourgeois

This week, children will explore the symbolic and emotional universe of Louise Bourgeois, one of the most important artists of the 20th century. Known for her monumental spider sculptures installed around the world, Bourgeois experimented with a wide range of mediums throughout her long career.

Inspired by her art—somewhere between abstraction and figuration—children will reflect on their own drawings and discover their personal visual alphabet as young artists, learning to express their emotions, fears, and imagination.

This week blends reflection, instinct, and poetic creation, offering children a gentle and supportive space to explore their sensitivity, their dreams, and the richness of their inner world.
