The Livart art center offers you the chance to transform your vows of love into an unforgettable celebration, surrounded by your loved ones, to say “I do” surrounded by art and elegance.

Livart’s spaces offer a visual setting that marries contemporary elegance with a unique artistic ambience. The gallery is composed of a series of white-painted rooms, where the combination of natural light and brilliant illumination creates a minimalist, serene setting. The main hall boasts a high, three-storey ceiling, a unique architectural design that was at the origin of the building. Each year, the gallery hosts five exhibitions bringing together a rich diversity of artistic practices. These exhibitions highlight not only current art, but also the work of the artists and their concerns. Bridegrooms and their guests who choose to join us here may have the chance to rub shoulders with works from the current program, as they exchange their vows. Each exhibition tells a story and proposes a creative universe. In this way, they can add a whole new dimension to the celebration.

Getting married at Le Livart also means having all the spaces you need at your disposal to create a flawless backdrop for magical celebrations. The gallery and inner courtyard are perfect for an opening ceremony or cocktail party. Since our collaboration with Cinéma Public for the Bleu soir summer screening cycle, the inner courtyard has been equipped with an integrated projector and sound system. The rooftop terrace offers unique photo opportunities against the backdrop of the Plateau Mont-Royal’s distinctive urban landscape.

Set-back rooms will also be available, so that the bride and groom can prepare for their wedding in complete privacy. In this exceptional setting, you can admire the charm of the former presbytery and soak up the urban and historic ambience of the place. The large hall is ideal for a seated dinner reception. With direct access to the catering area, equipped with a professional kitchen and cold room, plates can be assembled and impeccable service orchestrated. The large multi-purpose room can then be converted into a dance floor. As the second room in Montreal equipped with Void’s professional-quality sound system, it lends itself to prolonging the party, to the delight of night owls. It will prove to be a veritable jewel to match the performances of international DJs.

To facilitate the organization of this special day, Livart has access to event coordinators, caterers and florists, as well as a special agreement with La Nouvelle Tablée, a professional furniture rental service.

It is possible to rent the entire building and the Petit Atelier for an entire day, or for an entire weekend. Rentals are available for the four seasons of the year.
