Call for projects opens between October 5th and October 28th, 2023

To mark the festive season, the Livart spaces will come alive on December 16th and 17th, 2023, to welcome the fourth edition of the items market. A fair of discoveries and encounters, the event has become a must at the art center, showcasing the work of Montreal artists, craftspeople and designers.

More than a commercial marketplace, Items is a place for socializing and sharing in a spirit of collaboration to mark the holiday season.

As part of the winter edition of the market, Le Livart is launching a call for projects.

If you’re a creator of art, natural products, clothing, jewelry or other items relevant to the project, and you’d like to take part in our next winter edition, don’t hesitate to submit your file.

Practical information:

Location : Le Livart : 3980 R. Saint-Denis, Montreal, QC H2W 2M2.

The market will take place in the gallery during an exhibition.

Event dates :

• Friday, December 15: assembly
• Saturday, December 16: Market open to the public
• Sunday, December 17: market open to the public (dismantling at the end of the day)

How to take part :

• Registration fees for selected participants between $200 and $400 +tx (in accordance with space allocated). Visuals of available spaces are included in the items market introduction file (downloadable pdf).
• No commissions or additional fees on sales by selected participants.
• Some basic presentation furniture (wooden tables/high chairs/white bases) can be supplied by Le Livart. However, selected participants are responsible for bringing along any other furniture required for the presentation of their space. A certain number of hours are allocated to set-up and dismantling.
• Selected participants are responsible for their own sales and must bring their own payment terminal.
• Selected participants will be invited to take part in communications surrounding the event.

1. A description of the designer(s) :

• description of artistic approach and creative process
• indicate whether you have already taken part in similar contracts
• link to social networks and/or website

2. A presentation of the products to be sold (description, price range, a few photos)

Incomplete applications or those received after the deadline will not be accepted.
