Niti Marcelle Mueth is a multidisciplinary artist and independent artistic director, based in Montreal. Moving fluidly between art and design-oriented practices, Niti invests in visual storytelling that revolves around reflecting the experiences of individuals from BIPOC communities. She explores a variety of mediums such as illustration, graphic and fashion design, screen printing, sewing and animation. Throughout her career, Niti has participated in and organized exhibitions and workshops, has been the recipient of awards and has been the subject of numerous articles. Its aim is to make the histories of minority classes visible. Her art speaks to people seeking a sense of belonging, marginalized people and her practice promotes the importance of intersectionality, diversity and collaboration.
