During this week, children discover the artistic universe of Frank Polson, an Algonquin artist whose style is inspired by his childhood memories of nature. They explore his vibrant approach, where wildlife and natural elements are depicted with intense color and a deep respect for Algonquin culture and spirituality. Like Polson, the children are introduced to acrylic painting to create their own representations of animals and landscapes, drawing on their memories and celebrating the beauty of nature. This project encourages them to explore their creativity while discovering the richness of aboriginal culture.
