Le Livart launches its first socio-financing campaign!

Backed by La Ruche and thanks to the Mille et UN (FM1) fund, Le Livart is looking to raise its $40,000 goal in order to finance a new strand of activities for 15- to 29-year-olds that will take place in our new space, l’Atelier, opening in February 2025.

The project:

This project aims to offer concrete workshops in art, design and architecture, conducted in collaboration with professional artists, in an accessible, stimulating environment adapted to the realities of young people.

Some thirty activities are planned for the fall of 2025, as part of the 2025-2026 program – a project destined to be renewed and sustained over the long term. Together, let’s make L’Atelier a lively, inclusive and promising venue for the next generation of artists.

Origin of the project :

For several years, Livart has been developing an approach rooted in cultural mediation, social commitment and artistic transmission. In 2023, we acquired the adjacent sacristy, a former religious site carefully transformed into a creative space. This project, which became l’Atelier in 2024, quickly found its place as a hub of activities for 4 to 12 year-olds, welcoming hundreds of children in a creative and structuring setting.

Given the popularity of these activities and the growing needs of young people aged 15 to 29, we now want to extend our action. This campaign, conducted in collaboration with the Mille et UN Fund, marks a new stage in our commitment to young people.

What will the requested amount be used for?

We’re hoping to raise $40,000, which will be matched by the Mille et UN Fund for a total of $80,000.

This amount will be used to

  • Finalize the interior and exterior layout of Le Petit Atelier
  • Purchase art materials adapted for young audiences
  • Offer more free activities for children, families and adults
  • Increase mediation activities with schools and community organizations
  • Create a meeting place for creativity and inclusion in the heart of the Plateau
