Music has always been a part of his life. Since the age of three, he has been exploring different instruments such as the guitar, piano, clarinet, Latin percussion, and drums. He completed pre-university training in jazz electric bass and graduated from the professional music and song composition program at Cégep de Saint-Laurent. He is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in music composition at the University of Montreal.
A surfer of nuances by day and a slam poet by night, Marie-Ange is also co-organizer of the Lorem Ipsum [soirée à-peu-près-slam] event in Montreal. She likes to toast to the casualness and fragility she pours into each of her texts. Her favorite color is tender verse against a stormy backdrop.
Inan is an artist who has often collaborated with different artists from different backgrounds. He likes to mix arts, styles, and sounds to tell stories that resonate. A philosopher’s soul with an ancestral breath.
Sena is a poet at heart. Through her texts, the artist tackles taboo, historical, or simply human subjects. Whether her pen invites you to celebrate mysteries or raise questions, the essential thing is to take you on a journey to a place where poetry, rhythm, and emotions become one. Are you ready to feel?
Leslamo is the runner-up in the 2024 edition of Quebec’s interuniversity arts competition “U en Spectacle,” proudly representing his school, HEC Montréal. He was also a finalist in the Festival Afromonde competition, a finalist in the 2023 edition of the Talent d’Afrique competition in Quebec City, and participated in the Syli d’Or competition, organized by the Festival Nuits d’Afrique.
The activity is part of the Racines créatives exhibition at Livart from March 12 to April 26, 2026.

Racines créatives is a group exhibition that brings together eight artists, designers, and curators from the African-American community, all of whom have a connection to cultural and social enrichment. The exhibition seeks to create a dialogue between their creative expressions, offering an enriched cultural portrait. Through a variety of mediums and themes, each participant brings their unique vision, contributing to a collective reflection on cultural identities and urban interactions.
In the form of a multidisciplinary exhibition, Racines créatives explores the symbiosis between design, industry, and art. It offers a hybrid and daring vision of the archetypes specific to each discipline. In addition to presenting works and objects in the exhibition space, the project also includes public activities such as a conversation and an evening of musical performances.
