The Livart celebrates its 10th anniversary with a new crowdfunding campaign!

To mark a decade of creation, connection, and artistic discovery, the Livart is launching a crowdfunding campaign to bring a meaningful project to life: a new outdoor mural by artist Caroline Monnet and a cultural program dedicated to youth aged 15 to 29.

With your support, we aim to create a lasting artistic legacy for the neighbourhood while offering new opportunities for connection, creation, and participation through contemporary art.

The campaign will run until September 30, National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, marking an important milestone toward the realization of the project.

The official unveiling of the mural will take place on November 13, during the Livart’s 10th anniversary celebrations.

The Project

To celebrate its 10th anniversary, the Livart aims to transform a visible space in the neighbourhood by creating a public artwork by Caroline Monnet, an artist recognized for her multidisciplinary practice and her work exploring identity, territory, and transmission.

This mural will become a new cultural landmark in the heart of the Plateau, while opening the door to a program of encounters, workshops, screenings, and cultural mediation activities designed for youth aged 15 to 29.

Through this project, the Livart hopes to create spaces where the next generation can discover, experiment, and actively participate in contemporary artistic creation.

Each contribution will allow the Livart to continue its mission: making art accessible, supporting contemporary creation, and fostering lasting spaces for connection in the heart of Montréal.
