Meet Kriss Li, artist in residence at Livart. The results of his residency will be presented during the summer of 2024.

Kriss Li is a multimedia artist whose work explores power structures. Kriss’ films have been presented at festivals such as DOC NYC, Images Festival, Oberhausen, and Vancouver International Film Festival. Kriss has been selected for international residencies at Amant New York, Kulturhaus Villa Sträuli, Paper Machine New Orleans, Struts Gallery, Vidéographe, and Ada X. Kriss’ practice has been supported by multiple grants from the Canada Council for the Arts and the Conseil des arts et des lettres du Québec. In 2023, he was a finalist for the United Association for Labor Education’s New Generation Award for his work as a union organizer.
