The Livart is an art center located in a former presbytery in the Plateau-Mont-Royal, which includes a gallery, artists’ studios, a school, an event room and a boutique. The center’s activities are fueled by the desire to democratize art and culture. A place of creation, gathering and sharing, the Livart is also a space where the creativity of children and adults can come together.

The Livart rents its spaces to individuals or professionals, organizations, associations or companies of all kinds. The rooftop terrace, the interior courtyard, the gallery and the event room are available for a wide variety of events: weddings, business meetings, concerts, happy hours, etc. For more information:

Under the supervision of the Executive Director, the Rental Space Manager coordinates and manages all aspects of the Livart’s rental spaces. In addition to these duties, the Rental Space Manager is responsible for the general logistics of the center (opening and closing, management of maintenance and security services).



Manage and process rental applications;

Manage and update the rental space database;

Manage the rental space calendar, make and schedule appointments;

Manage and implement the equipment required for events;

Be assured of the perfect maintenance of the building;

Take care of the presentation of the rental spaces to the clients;

Ensure the negotiation and management of packages;

Drafting rental contracts;

Ensure the processing of merchandise for events;

Support the set-up and tear-down of events;

Management of the concierge and security services;

Administer and develop the space rental platform;

Optimize Livart’s space rental rate: track and analyze activity data and recommend improvements;

Develop the visibility of rental spaces (rental platforms, business tourism, etc.);

Perform other related office tasks.


Profile required:

Minimum of 2 years experience in venue rental management or event logistics;

Experience in the event industry;

Excellent written and spoken French and English;

Excellent customer service;

Good interpersonal skills;

Ability to listen and negotiate;

Excellent planning and coordination skills;

Initiative and attention to detail in maintaining the quality of the maintenance of the spaces;

Resourcefulness and ease with manual tasks;

Comfortable with multitasking.


Terms of employment :

  • 40h / week;
  • Salary to be discussed according to experience;
  • Tuesday to Saturday, 10am-6pm or 2pm-10pm depending on events;
