Rental space manager
The Livart is an art center located in a former presbytery in the Plateau-Mont-Royal, which includes a gallery, artists’ studios, a school, an event room and a boutique. The center’s activities are fueled by the desire to democratize art and culture. A place of creation, gathering and sharing, the Livart is also a space where the creativity of children and adults can come together.
The Livart rents its spaces to individuals or professionals, organizations, associations or companies of all kinds. Under the supervision of the General Manager, the person in charge of rental spaces handles sales related to Livart spaces in order to maximize space utilization and revenues.
Primary Responsibilities :
Application and customer management
- Manage and process rental requests.
- Manage and update rental space customer database.
- Manage mailbox and telephony for rental spaces.
Planning and organization
- Manage rental space calendar, book and organize appointments.
- Draft rental contracts for events, workshops and residences, and ensure their signature.
- Manage rental invoicing and track payments for events, workshops and residencies.
- Organize presentations and tours of rental spaces for potential customers.
Offer development and optimization
- Optimize work tools related to rental spaces (data sheets, standard emails, presentation documents, etc.).
- Administer and develop rental space management platforms.
- Analyze activity data and optimize space rental rates (statistics, monitoring, recommendations for improvements).
- Develop new services related to rental spaces.
Marketing and visibility
- Develop the visibility of rental spaces via social networks (Instagram, etc.), newsletters, SEO, and other communication tools.
- Actively monitor new tools and trends (communication, marketing, management).
- Collaborate with the team to create promotional campaigns specific to rental spaces.
Customer relations
- Negotiate and manage customer packages.
- Maintain strong customer relationships, including post-event follow-ups.
Objectives and performance indicators
- Establish clear objectives for rental rates, revenues generated, and customer satisfaction.
- Regularly monitor these indicators to measure performance.
Other responsibilities
- Liaise between departments to ensure smooth management of rental spaces.
- Manage unforeseen events and solve operational problems related to rental space.
- Participate in strategic initiatives to increase rental revenues.
- Perform all other related tasks required for the smooth running of the department.
Profile required:
- – Minimum 2 years in sales, rental space management or event logistics.
- – Experience in the events sector.
- – Excellent command of written and spoken French and English (bilingualism required).
- – Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- – Ability to listen, negotiate and build strong relationships.
- – Organizational skills, thoroughness and ability to manage priorities.
- – Proficiency in IT tools (CRM, Google Workspace, Excel).
- – Knowledge of digital marketing (Instagram, SEO) is an asset.
- – Interest in the cultural and events sector.
