The Livart is an art center located in a former presbytery in the Plateau-Mont-Royal. It includes a gallery, artists’ studios, an art school, event rooms and a boutique.

The Livart’s mission is to democratize accessibility to art and culture for all audiences by offering a friendly and vivacious space for art and creation that encourages exchange and nourishes the imagination.

Under the supervision of the communications manager and the boutique manager, and in close collaboration with the team members, the intern will assume the following responsibilities :



  • Under the supervision of the store manager, create and develop a publication calendar;
  • Implementation of the publication calendar;
  • Participate in the implementation of advertising placement strategies;
  • Setting up Facebook posts and events;
  • Participate in openings and events organized by the Livart;
  • Contribute to the operation of the gallery: organization of exhibitions, organization of various events, reception of visitors, cultural mediation, etc;
  • Perform other related office tasks.



  • Studies in a relevant field: communications, marketing, management or other related fields;
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills;
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and Google Workplace;
  • Knowledge of Instagram, Facebook and Tiktok social networks (experience in the field is an asset but not required). It’s important to know how to do the following tasks without guidance: post on instagram and facebook, make a story and make videos and edit them for “reels”, add store products, share links in story, etc.
  • Take good pictures;
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop / Illustrator is an asset;
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a team environment.



Please note that this internship is unpaid.

  • Academic credit awarded based on the approval of the student’s academic institution (students should consult their academic advisor for information on how to complete an internship for credit);

  • At the beginning of the semester (September, January, April) and during the summer (June-August)
  • Duration of the contract: between 15 and 30 hours per week, for a minimum of 12 weeks. Possibility of extension according to the trainee’s wishes and availability. Minimum of 15 hours per week, including a full day on site.
