Volunteer Internship – Arts Education

Duties and tasks
- Contribute to the general operation of the day camp;
- Welcoming parents and children;
- Support and assist the counsellors teaching cultural mediation workshops as well as creative workshops;
- Promote the camp and art school activities on social networks, through the media and the Livart network;
- Assist the teaching facilitators in organizing and cleaning the workshop;
- Participating in team meetings and brainstorming sessions.
Conditions
- Must be able to work between 15 and 25 hours per week from June 26 through August 25, 2023.
Requirements
- Education in art history, fine arts, communication, management, museum studies or other related fields of study;
- Excellent oral and written communication skills ;
- Facility with children;
- Knowledge of office and design related software such as Word, Excel, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, etc. ;
- Very good organizational and priority management skills;
- Ability to work within a team, great adaptability, punctuality, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in a day camp or art school (a considerable asset);
- Experience in an artistic setting (a strong asset).
