Your role
You will accompany children aged 4 to 12 in their discovery of the visual arts through :
- Creative workshops (painting, drawing, etc.)
- Activities inspired by artists and exhibitions
- Physical games and group activites
You will play an important role in making their summer unforgettable.
Details
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM
- From June 22 to August 21, 2026
- Paid training during the week of June 15 (16 hours)
Location : Le Livart – 3980 rue Saint-Denis
Job type : Full-time, summer position
Salary : From minimum wage
Roles and responsabilities
- Leading artistic workshops in a structured and dynamic way
- Supervising children during cultural and artistic activities
- Organizing and leading physical games
- Ensuring the safety and well-being of participants
- Communicating professionally and clearly with parents
- Upholding Livart’s values within the team
Profile we are looking for
You are an energetic, creative, and reliable person. You enjoy working with children, know how to engage their attention, and want to make a positive impact.
Requirements
Please note that we have received a Canada Summer Jobs (CSJ) grant. To be eligible, you must be between the ages of 15 and 30 and be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident. Please note that eligibility for the Canada Summer Jobs grant is a requirement for employment.
- Studies in visual arts, art history, education, or a related field
- Experience working with children
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience in a summer camp or art school (an asset)
- Strong sense of organization and priorities
- Team spirit, adaptability, punctuality, and dynamism
- Comfortable with Canva, Photoshop, InDesign, or Illustrator (an asset)
- Experience in the arts (an asset)
