During this week, children will discover the world of Emily Carr, a Canadian modernist artist. They will be immersed in the art of early 20th century Western Canada and will immerse themselves in the modernist style in order to create in the style promoted by Emily Carr. The children will have the chance to discover the artistic production of the Group of Seven. During cultural mediation, they will explore the artistic legacy that this female artist has left on the production of Canada. The week will conclude with a vernissage that will showcase the works created during the workshops.
