Zacsteen (1994, Montreal, Canada) is a self-taught artisan/artist currently exploring various artistic approaches. His works appear as dreamlike images in which fiction and reality meet, familiar tropes merge, meanings change, merging the past and the present. Time, memory and space always play a key role in his experiments. He reconsiders these concepts by exploring the landscape in a nostalgic way. His works are presented not to provide an idealistic view, but to identify where light and environment are important, more appropriately presenting the energy of a place and its emotional and spiritual vibrations. He particularly enjoys collaborating with other artists on his work, bringing another dimension to his work, causing them to reconsider and reinterpret his world.
