Audrey Beaulé

Audrey Beaulé is a visual artist based in Tiohtiá:ke (Montreal). Their work in drawing, print and book seeks to re-read abstraction in a feminist and queer way. Through different relationships to our margins, our limits and our personal and collective emancipations, their work is informed by a research on abstraction in Quebec. Drawing – writing – printing: in the gestures, in the know-how of the body and the hand, resides all the identity, material and sensitive potential of emancipation.
